Born (1925) in Spokane, Washington. Graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. Entered the service on November 15, 1943 and received his basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Volunteered for service with the 10th Mountain Division and arrived at Camp Hale in January, 1944. Assigned to the 110th Mountain Signal Company.
